History
1965 : Lucien Walter founds a company specialised in the production of canvas covers for lorries in Mundolsheim, near Strasbourg
In the Eighties : The company starts the fabrication of mobile structures and deposes multiple patents in the field of the technologies for aluminium frames and synthetic membranes
1987 : Diversification and growth cause the installation of the principal office in Brumath, 20 km north of Strasbourg
1992 : Beginning of the production of Pool covers
1st july 2003 : Creation of Walter SAS due to the stock purchase by the German company Losberger
2005 : Experienced in the field of permanent and semi-permanent structures, Walter SAS starts an activity "ready to use" representing the exclusive contact for your entire project. Earthworks, construction, interior and exterior equipment.
2006 : As it launches WALU LOCK, a fully automatic security Swimming Pool cover, without final adjustments , Walter endorses its position as the European leader on the market of security Swimming Pool covers
Walter : draft and fabrication
DraftOur company has its own engineering and design department, employing a dozen of experience specialists who master all the technical aspects of our profession: statistical computation , selection and resistance of the materials, adaptation of our products to special climatic conditions etc. The members of our research and development unit are provided computers equipped with CAO-DAO of the last generation, in order to work through all your projects. |

FabricationA huge, modern and flexible machinery ( cut robots, welding HF, CNC machines ) allows us to respond with reactivity and rapidity to the requests of our clients. About 60 permanent and experience persons are employed in the workshop of synthetic membranes and aluminium frames. |
